Have you ever been depressed because you're overweight? Or not even because you're overweight, but because everyone else thinks you are (and doesn't hide it well). Well, I was overweight for a long time (almost 2 years) and didn't care at all. Know what finally changed my mind? Overhearing my girlfriend tell her friends she wished I weighed less. Man, that definitely shook me up a little. Anyway, long story short, I decided to try all the weight loss programs I could find and review them, so other poeple didn't have to waste time with crap.
The obvious short-sighted flaw with this plan was that if one worked, I wasn't exactly going to become overweight again. I found a way around that, but that's not the point of this review. The point of this review is to discuss the "Combat the Fat" weight loss program and all of it's pros and cons. I'm a glass half full type of guy, so I guess pros first.
The biggest pro (for me at least) is that this program actually worked for me. I lost almost 26 pounds in the months that I used the program, so I'd have to point that out (most did me more harm that good). Also, the program is designed to fit in around a busy lifestyle, very important nowadays. It comes with a nutrition guide and workout log, which helped me a ton. My memory is terrible so anything written helps me a ton.
Moving right along, there were some downsides. You will have to actually follow the program for it to work. I tried the dust method for two weeks (letting it collect dust on a shelf) and I barely lost a pound. Sometimes the amount of information can be a little much at once too, since it explains the reasoning behind everything.
All in all though, I am so glad I tried this program. Like I said, it worked for me, so the review is a little biased. If you're willing to start getting more fit, happier, and leaner (with a pretty small time commitment), definitely check the Combat the Fat program out. Final vote: four out of five stars.
